- Stock #[removed phone] - LOW-HOUR Family Cruiser Ready for Her Next Owner!!This Bayliner 305 is a waterfront weekender that can take you places in comfort while getting their in a timely and efficient manner! One of the first things you'll notice with this boat are the blue topsides and a radar arch add to the boat's good looks - including its signature eagle-eye saloon windows. This boat has been kept in excellent condition and is hardly used by her owners. With only approximately 100 hours on her twin Mercruiser engines and low hours on the generator, this boat is a GREAT BUY for her next owner!! Upon boarding the boat, you get the sense that there is an overriding sense of top-to-bottom design where the seating is positioned with entertaining in mind but also allowing your crew to move about freely. This is a function of Bayliner's ability to fully integrate their amenities on their boats. There is a long grab rail to hold onto while walking across the full-width swim platform and to the port-side transom door, which is certainly high enough to keep the kids inside the cockpit. There is an aft fender locker, a central swim ladder, fuel filler and pump-out point, and a freshwater transom shower that completed the back swim platform area. Moving into the cockpit, it is clear this boat can comfortably entertain 8-10 guests. There is a U-shaped lounge to starboard where at least 5 or 6 can comfortably sit. There is a single companion seat to port and opposite is a helm bench seat big enough for two. There is a twist-fit molded table that can be placed in the middle of the lounge. And, when this table is not in use, it can be removed where fill-in cushions can be placed down to make a large sunpad or even an outside sleeper. A molded deck recess with overboard drain was created under the lounge to carry the boat's Igloo cooler where there is a central-hinged lounge cushion providing access to the food and drinks stowed in the cooler. On the port side in front of the transom door is a molded sink with faucet, three drink holders and a grab rail. There's storage in the locker below the sink where you'll also find the boat's engine and house battery switches and shorepower lead inside. Engine access is gained by lifting the cockpit floor hatch. There is a lot of servicing room around the twin Mercruiser 350 MPI engines and also ample room for the generator along with the other boat's mechanical systems. Getting around in the engine room was surprisingly not as tight as you would think. Access to the foredeck is gained through the center section of the windshield. There are molded steps in the dash, a courtesy light to see at night, and a large non-skid area to step off. There is a flat recess in the center of the foredeck where a sunpad is placed for those times to lay out on the top deck! The highly comfortable and user-friendly helm is located in front of the U-shaped cockpit seating. Your line of site is great while seating but you'll need to stand up for a few moments when you get the boat up on plane and then you'll be able to see everywhere all the time. The driver's half of the bench seat is adjustable as is the steering wheel. The engine trim switches are on the pegs and the trim tabs buttons are beside them. The walnut trimmed dash panels are fitted with Faria engine gauges with chrome rims, covering everything from RPM to speed, oil pressure, water temperature, trim position, and fuel. There is a blank walnut panel that is intended to add your flush-mounted electronics including enough room to install at least two seven-inch color or LCD screens. The owner has installed a VHF marine radio along with a GPS to assist with daily excursions away from the dock. Going below decks to the cabin you will enter through a bi-fold door with sliding hatch which provides a big entry into the cabin. The first thing you'll notice with the open-plan layout is that it has no surprises - there is a LOT of room inside this cabin! There is more than an abundant amount of headroom and due to the boat's 11' beam; you will certainly not be climbing around each other to move around in the cabin. To the immediate port side when going downstairs, you'll find the molded head with handheld hot/cold shower with wall-mounted bracket, a molded sink, mirror, 120V outlet, towel rail, molded floor with drain to the sump pump, an opening hatch, and electric toilet. Moving forward on the portside is the galley is equipped with a half-sized fridge/freezer big enough to keep all of your drinks and food nice and cold. There is a two-burner alcohol/electric stove and microwave oven, complemented by a small amount of flat food-prep space. The sink is big enough to wash those dishes and there is more than enough cabinet storage to stow away all of those pantry items, pots & pans, and cutlery. Above the galley there are several ventilation hatches with screens along with overhead hatches. The circuit-breaker panel is beside the galley where you'll find all of the controls for the generator and other electrical systems. The dinette is immediately located across the galley on the starboard side of the cabin. The U-shaped lounge is big enough for four people to sit around a table with four meal settings. The boat's second hanging locker is alongside. The forward double berth is located in front of the galley and dinette areas. This is a very large sleeping area where two can comfortably sleep. This bed rivals the aft bed for size, so neither couple should miss out on a good night's sleep. There is a ton of storage hidden under the forward bed and also the dinette. The dinette also converts to a sleeper and can comfortably sleep two adults. The aft cabin is accessed via a big opening to starboard that allows it to double as a play area for kids. There's a fully-lined hanging locker for your weekend attire and a privacy curtain at the cabin entrance. The bed offers serious sleeping space for two adults. If you count the cockpit daybed and the convertible dinette, the boat can sleep eight people. However, it is more likely to accommodate a family of four or two couples on the separate forward and aft double beds.Overall, this is a VERY nice boat that has A LOT to offer in amenities and options that most boats would cost you almost twice as much in a different brand. The twin Mercruisers will certainly take you to where you need to go in style and efficiency and will allow you to go coastal cruising running to nearby ports. This is certainly a great home away from home that is ready for her next owner! Owner is very motivated is ready to SELL!!!Please submit any and ALL offers - your offer may be accepted! Additional Equipment:
This Bayliner has barely been used! With only 100 or so hours on the twin Mercruisers, this boat is ready to go. The owners have taken excellent care of this boat. They are only selling because they are ready to go riding over the road instead of the water.
Meeting with the owners, you could tell they have a great deal of pride in ownership as this boat has always been properly maintained. The boat is pulled every season, bottom cleaned and or painted, and stored with shrinkwrap during the winter.
The only minor negative I saw with the boat was that it did not have an extensive electronics package. However, the way this boat was used, day cruising on the Potomac River, there was not an immediate need to add an extensive array of electronics. There is more than enough room to expand on this on the over-sized helm!
Owner is VERY motivated to sell and will consider ALL reasonable offers!
